Admittedly, 'Uigeadail' (pronounced uhgedal) doesn't roll off the tongue that easily, but this Islay Scotch is all the better on the tongue. A good dose of campfire and a touch of citrus, as is usual for Ardbeg whiskeys, combine with sweet fruits, peat, and earthy aromas.

Nose: intense smoky notes of a wood fire - dry, clean, with pepper, sherry, and some tobacco
Palate: Brilliantly silky, firm, full-bodied, and saline body that hugs the palate, strong dry wood fire tones, spiced with black pepper and caramel toffees
Finish: hot-blooded, with alcoholic aroma and smoke in the long aftertaste
