The Buffalo Trace pays homage to the buffalo that traversed the trail to the river across the site of today’s distillery. The Trace of the Buffalo is an excellently balanced marriage of 8 to 12 year old corn, rye and barley whiskeys. Since the distillery was founded, there has been no interruption in production. As a result, Buffalo Trace distillers know exactly how to produce the best quality.

Tasting Notes

Nose: fragrant vanilla sticks, some mint and spicy molasses
Palate: sweet, with spicy notes of oak and anise, dark berries, vanilla and caramel slowly join in
Finish: long and spicy-sweet finish
