The 21-year-old Chivas Regal Royal Salute is a very special blend! It was created by the Chivas Brothers in honor of Queen Elizabeth II and launched on June 2nd, 1953, the day of her coronation. This historical event is also reflected in the name of the blend: "Royal Salute" stands for the 21 gun salutes fired on Coronation Day.

The whiskeys blended into Chivas Regal Royal Salute 21 YO are all at least 21 years old. This long period of maturation allowed the individual whiskey varieties to develop a particularly rich, complex aroma, which is reflected in the high quality of the Chivas Regal Royal Salute.
