The new Single Barrel Series In this case, from barrel number 8115, is a new series from US Bourbon great Jim Beam, replacing the Signature Craft series. As the name suggests, the Single Barrel is a single-barrel bottling and comes from a heavily flamed US white oak barrel. From their vast amount of bourbon casks, the master distiller, Mr. Fred Noe, only selects about 1% of the casks that come into question for the single barrel and then bottles them. There are around 250 bottles per barrel. Of course, each of the tranches has its own character.

Tasting Notes

Nose: powerful oak spice, caressed by warm notes of vanilla and caramel
Palate: voluminous body with beautifully balanced oak notes, sweet bourbon vanilla and silky caramel cream
Finish: long, spicy finish
