The 2020 Edition of the Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt Whiskey shines in the color of old gold. The drop was inspired by Nikka’s founder Masataka Taketsuru, who is also called the father of Japanese whiskey. Now Taketsuru not only gives his name to the noble creation, but was also created according to his personality, which should be reflected in every facet of the whiskey.

Tasting Notes

Nose: complex and expressive with citrus notes, oranges, herbaceous hints and grapefruit
Palate: Balanced, deep and full of character with a sweet spiciness, a good dose of cardamom and notes of candied fruit.
Finish: light bitter flavors with full-bodied black chocolate
