The Yoichi Single Malt produced according to strictly traditional methods, comes from the northernmost island of Japan off the coast of Hokkaido. Made in Japan; however, the Yoichi's do credit to every Scottish island whiskey with their aroma combination.

The Yoichi house style is typically strong, robust, smoky with beautiful, subtly incorporated fruit.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Gentle start, light peat scents envelop fruity aromas of lime, orange, and spicy nuances of aniseed and ginger, with increasing spiciness its bouquet unfolds into a colorful, wonderfully balanced range of scents.
Palate: Powerful with peat, cinnamon, campfire smoke, black pepper, and fresh, juicy fruits (melons and kiwi); plus spicy almonds and walnuts that are soon accompanied by creamy chocolate and some peat smoke again.
Finish: silky smooth and long finish, with fruit, malt, some salt, and a small handful of peat
