The King Alexander III. is an incredibly complex single malt, which is due in particular to the complex refinement in different types of casks. In addition to former bourbon casks, King Alexander III is also stored in Matusalem Oloroso sherry wood casks, in Madeira and Marsala casks, in port tubes, and in Cabernet Sauvignon barriques.

Tasting Notes
Nose: fine notes of almonds, wild fruits, plums, caramel, and dark beet syrup
Palate: strong notes of sherry, with fruity tones of fresh berries and plums, as well as vanilla and toffee
Finish: voluminous and elegant, accompanied by red wine, peppery oak aroma.
