Ardbeg’s permanent range is expanding with another gem – introducing the Ardbeg Wee Beastie Islay Single Malt Whisky. The wine matured in ex-Bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks for five years. Strong and lively smoke aromas developed that are characteristic of the distillery. It is the youngest aged whiskey Ardbeg has ever created.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Freshly ground black pepper, dominant smoke, juicy pine resin, ripe pears, strong coffee and glazed ham. A drop of water reveals notes of vetiver, leather and fennel
Palate: Rich and complex, flavors of tar, creosote tar oil, eucalyptus, aniseed, dark chocolate and aromatic notes of smoked bacon
Finish: Almost endless finish with hints of salty sea air. Sweet toffee and notes of grilled meat cavort in the background.
