The 12-year-old Glenfiddich is undoubtedly one of the best-selling single malts in the world. A classic for both beginners and professionals. What began in 1887 with a lot of courage to take risks, tremendous talent for improvisation and almost pitiful start-up capital is now definitely one of the global giants in the whiskey sector. With 29 stills and an annual capacity of a whopping 10 million liters of alcohol there is no getting around Glenfiddich. Incidentally, the company is still owned by the founding family, William Grant.

Tasting Notes

Nose: fresh and fruity scent, with creamy nuances and appetizing sweetness
Palate: Lean, smooth and oily texture, well rounded, with malty spiciness, creamy chocolate, fruity sweet notes and hints of oak
Finish: long and silky finish with hints of peat smoke
